Labor-only moving
Sometimes you just need a capable team.
You might already have a rental truck. You might need the living room cleared for new flooring. Or you might have a heavy dresser that belongs upstairs. Tell us the job and we’ll help you work out the crew and preparation.
Labor-only moving provides people for the agreed tasks without a company moving truck or driver. We offer help in Bend and Central Oregon with on-site furniture moves, room rearranging, packing and the lifting around a self-managed move.
If belongings need transport between addresses, tell us at the start. We can discuss whether your own vehicle arrangement or a full moving service better fits what you need.

Make room for the work at home.
A flooring or renovation project is easier to organize when the furniture has somewhere to go. We can discuss moving agreed pieces into a suitable staging area and a return visit when the work is ready.
Show us the rooms, stairs, awkward turns and any furniture that may need disassembly. Let us know what must remain accessible and when other trades will be working. The crew needs a clear route and a placement plan even when nothing leaves the property.
For a simple room change, decide where the pieces will go before the appointment. We can review the access and lifting so the visit is planned around your priorities.

Labor-only moving
Moving with your own truck? We can help with that.
Our crew can assist with loading or unloading around the transportation you arrange. Have the vehicle or container available and discuss access, moving pads, straps and any other supplies with us before the appointment.
If packing is the job holding you up, bring that into the conversation too. We can identify the rooms or pieces you want help with and explain the labor and material requirements. Our loading and packing guides cover the preparation in more detail.

The right crew, with the charges explained.
Your labor-only estimate identifies the number of movers, rate, minimum, travel and tasks. It does not include a company moving truck or driver. Truck-and-crew rates shown for local moves are a different service, so ask us for the estimate that fits your job.
We’ll discuss stairs, large pieces, materials and timing before recommending a crew. A short furniture list can still involve a minimum charge. Start with a call or our form, and we can organize the details using our survey software and arrange a visual survey when needed.
You don’t have to guess how many movers to hire. Show us what needs doing and we’ll talk through the practical options with you.

Your labor-only help questions, answered.
What is the difference between labor-only and full-service moving?
Labor-only provides the crew for agreed tasks. You arrange transport when it is needed. A full moving service includes the moving truck and transportation as well as the crew.
Can you help before and after a remodel?
Yes. We can discuss moving furniture into a staging area and a return visit after the work. Both visits, access and any disassembly should be included in the scope.
Can labor-only include packing?
Yes. Tell us the rooms or items you need packed so we can identify the labor and materials. Packing charges and material requirements should be clear before the appointment.
How many movers should I book?
Share the inventory, stairs, access and timing. We will recommend a crew for the work rather than asking you to guess from the number of rooms alone.
