Local moving
A local move. A team on your side.
You have enough to organize without figuring out how to carry a sofa down the stairs. Our job is to take the moving work off your list and help you feel comfortable with the plan. We start by listening to what you need, then work through the details with you.
Live Junkless provides local moving in Bend and Central Oregon, including a crew, truck, loading, transportation and unloading for your agreed service. Need help packing, preparing furniture or collecting belongings from another address? Bring it up during your estimate so we can plan the whole job.
A move across town still deserves careful attention. Whether you are leaving an apartment, moving a family home or combining two households, we want to understand what a good moving day looks like for you.

Care for your belongings starts with the details.
Tell us about the dining table you love, the narrow stairs and the boxes still waiting in the garage. Looking at the actual furniture and access helps us recommend a crew and discuss how the work will be handled. A bedroom count alone leaves too much to guess.
We can discuss furniture protection and ordinary disassembly and reassembly as part of your service. Large, fragile or unusually heavy pieces deserve a closer look before booking. Show us what needs attention so we can confirm the handling, equipment and scope for the job.
- Include the garage, patio, shed and any extra pickup or delivery stop.
- Mention stairs, elevators, narrow halls and where the moving truck can park.
- Tell us which items you are packing and where you would like help.
- Flag closing times, building reservations and the moment you receive your keys.

Local moving
Clear rates. Helpful explanations.
For a move covered by the Bend-area local rate schedule, two movers and one truck are $150.65 per hour during non-holiday Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with a one-hour minimum. Saturday and Sunday use the $195.40 overtime rate with a five-hour minimum; tariff holidays use $238.55 with a five-hour minimum. Weekday overtime uses the overtime rate with a one-hour minimum.
Oregon regulates household moving charges through ODOT-approved tariffs. OMSA, the Oregon Moving & Storage Association, publishes the tariff we follow. It is a rate sheet and billing rulebook; “Item 3500” is simply the section for this Bend-area hourly schedule. We explain the rates and rules in your estimate. Longer-distance routes receive a custom estimate.
Under this local schedule, time runs from the vehicle leaving the carrier’s terminal until it returns, computed to the nearest quarter-hour and subject to the minimum. Pickup and delivery addresses determine the applicable tariff item, so we confirm the schedule rather than assuming every Central Oregon move has the same rate.

Let’s make moving day feel more manageable.
We’ll talk through what should be ready before the crew arrives. Label boxes by their new room, separate the items staying behind and keep your keys, medication, documents and first-night essentials with you. If packing is falling behind, tell us early so we can discuss the help you need.
Start the day with a walkthrough and let the crew know which pieces need extra attention. At the new home, show us where the furniture belongs and check each room before the job is finished. A few clear conversations help everyone work toward the same result.

Your local moving questions, answered.
Can you move us between Central Oregon towns?
Yes. We handle moves across Bend and the surrounding service area. Share both locations so we can plan the crew, travel and applicable pricing for the actual route.
Who sets the prices for local moves?
ODOT, the Oregon Department of Transportation, regulates Oregon household moving rates. The Oregon Moving & Storage Association (OMSA) publishes the tariff we follow, which is a rate sheet with billing rules. “Item 3500” simply identifies the Bend-area hourly schedule. Your total depends on the crew, billable time and services for your move. Review rates and billing details.
Can I pack myself and hire you for the move?
Yes. We can move belongings you have packed, or you can add packing help for selected rooms or items. Tell us how much preparation you plan to do so the scope is clear.
How do I get an estimate?
Call 541-550-1240 or send an estimate request. We offer in-person estimates and a phone-assisted survey process using our software. A written Oregon household-goods estimate follows an in-person or virtual visual inspection.
Does an estimate request reserve my moving date?
A request starts the planning process. The team will confirm availability, scope and booking arrangements directly with you.
