Packing has a way of taking longer than expected. If you are running out of evenings or wondering where to start, we can help. Live Junkless offers packing services in Bend and Central Oregon for selected rooms, specific items or a broader household plan.

You can pack the clothes and books while we help with the kitchen, or ask us to take on more of the work. We’ll discuss the belongings, your moving date and what needs to stay usable so the packing fits around your household.

The estimate should identify the agreed packing work, labor and supplies. Tell us what you will handle yourself and where you want our crew to step in.

Give fragile belongings the attention they need.

Dishes, glass, artwork and the things you would hate to replace deserve a conversation before packing begins. Show us the pieces you are concerned about so we can discuss suitable materials and preparation.

We’ll work through which supplies we provide, what you supply and the applicable charges. Specialty crating, unusual shapes and particularly fragile or valuable items need individual confirmation. Bring them into the survey so the handling can be assessed early.

Get ready without packing away your whole routine.

We’ll discuss when packing should happen and which rooms need to remain usable. Set aside medication, keys, documents and a first-night bag before the work begins. Let the team know which cupboards, items or areas should be left alone.

Use the same destination-room names on your boxes and your room plan. If several people are helping, agree on what goes and what stays. Clear labels help the moving crew put things in the right place at the new home.

• Separate a first-night kit before rooms are packed.
• Identify the cupboard, closet or corner that should be left alone.
• Ask about restricted items before packing liquids, batteries or hazardous materials.

Packing services

Understand the packing estimate.

Packing a few fragile pieces and packing a full household are different jobs. An in-person or software-assisted virtual survey helps us see the work, discuss materials and connect the packing schedule with your move. A written Oregon household-goods estimate follows the required visual inspection.

Ask whether the packing is part of moving day or a separate appointment. The applicable labor and material charges depend on the service and tariff schedule. We’ll explain those details so you can review the plan before booking.

For packing at a time other than movement on a move covered by the Bend-area local schedule (tariff Item 3500), Item 3100(F) uses the per-packer additional-mover rate: $58.60 during weekday daytime, $80.65 in non-holiday overtime, or $102.70 on tariff holidays, with no van charge. Materials are separate under Item 3990. A mileage-rated shipment has different packing provisions, so the estimate identifies the service and schedule that apply.
